About the artist
Lenny is a Bhutanese artist whose work is rooted in the culture she grew up with, and shaped by a loud curiosity for the world beyond it.
Her collaboration with Edwin Trevor-Roberts came from an immediate resonance with the Koans and their reflective nature. Through reading the Koans, she created visuals that feel intimate, with images that complement the essence of the text and also carry a sense of personal meaning.
Beyond her artistic practice, she is deeply engaged in conversations surrounding arts and culture. She actively volunteers with the Zhung Dratshang Preservation and Antiquities Conservation Center. Holding an MA in Arts and Cultural Entrepreneurship from the National University of Singapore, her work increasingly explores the intersection of art, culture, and technology
